DAVID JUDGING FINAL BIS.
There was a moment both happy and sad at the end of the show, when popular judge David Redtfeldt was presented with a small goodbye gift from the Club. It was the last time most of us will see him, for he is returning to America to be closer to his children. He will be sorely missed in the Semi Long Hair section as he was not only an extremely conscientious, perceptive and hard-working judge but also could be relied on to find something good to say about every cat whilst not lowering his standards. His true love of felines was clear to see, and we were honoured to have him judging the Best in Show cats at our final Sanction show.
Also worthy of mention, a lovely 10 year old forest cat who has been gracing the show benches of the UK for many years, is Ch Frostnattens Tortie Josephine - the oldest cat at the show and still doing well!
